Bobby Mackey's Music World and Sedamsville Rectory is just over a month away! We'll be joining with Paranormal Phenonenon Research Group, Johnathan Isenhour from Catawba County Paranormal Investigators, and Kurt Flipiak! This will be an absolutely crazy trip. Three days of cramming into one room and two huge investigations.
The Beyond Ghosts ParaHorror Weekend was fun. Most of us met both the ORIGINAL Michael Meyers from Halloween and Rob Zombie's Michael Meyers. Both guys were friendly and talked to us for a bit. We were also able to raise money for our charity Breathe-And-Release. Some of us even dressed like zombies.
We also hit up Brant, NY's Summerfest this past weekend. It was a little slow but we still did pretty well thanks to fan support (We love you guys, we really do!!) We were able to gain some fans and followers as well as possibly retaining some new members.
The rest of the summer has us set up for a few day trips. We will return to Stebbins Road and we will head to Goodleburg Cemetery. We are hoping to get back to Arcade and Attica Railroad, hit up Dunkirk Lighthouse, Palmyra, among others.
We are inviting our friends, people we work well with and group members to our first official WNY G.H.O.S.T. Weenie Roast. It should be fun, bonfire, s'mores and general ghost related debauchery. Hopefully friends from Erie, Ripley, Salamanca, Jamestown, Buffalo and beyond will be coming out.
Welp, that's all for now. Hopefully I'll have more to update you guys with soon

I'm sitting here listening to Spin Doctors and wondering why I haven't updated y'al in soo long.
Some of you may have noticeed that we increased the number of pages here at wnyghost.com. A lot of these pages are members only. I thought it was fair that if you joined, members had access to information that could help in deciding if someone needed an investigation but also small peek into how we designate from case to case.
Now, not EVERY case is haunted. In fact it's rare that we make that claim. We post videos of what we find that we could not disprove. Very often it's audio. We work long, tedious hours to bring you the best evidence or oddities from the nvestigation. Sometimes there's nothing strange that shows up. Other times you feel like someone set off the confetti bomb of activity.
When we are having a slow period we dive into other things, like fundraising, planning investigations with other teams, or hold mass research sessions on locations that interest us. We all discussed it and came to the conclusion that if the public opens themselves up to us we have to give back and support that community through charitiable cause.
Been working really hard at getting us reorganized before we have our publicity season. Plus in July we're headed to KY to investigate to really iconic places. I'm really excited to go to these places and see if they have anything offer us. Plus we're getting our Pittsburgh chapter involved in this so you'll get to know them really well too. Deviney is a blast, I've known her for years; then her younger brother Matt and her friend Roger. I'm excited to see what we can do with a extended team. We're still mostly a female group, but adding in Matt and Roger might help the guys up here feel a little less outnumbered.
March 31st is going to be the first case of the year. We've done 3 interviews with Jim Malliard, Eric Tuberdyke and Russ Stiver. We have a BUNCH of really cool & fun events with the money going to charitable causes and historic building restoration.
I'm hoping we can help out a Church in Erie to keep their doors open. every member of WNY GHOST hads a different faith, but we celebrate the love and open mindedness that we've witness by these wonderful people. No judgement, no chastising, just people who love you for the sake of being human (dead or alive). Good people.
I think that's the update for now. As things progress I'll post more
Peace, Love and Happy Hauntings!!

about what's going on with this picture
The shadow of what looks like a man was not in the before picture or after and was not seen through the lense.
This picture was taken with a 3 second aperature on a Kodak digital camera.
We've asked several other teams their opinions and they believe we have caught a legitimate shadow person.
Tell us what you think.

Right now we opted to take a sabatical. Just a small break to get through the holidays. We'll still take your cases, and especially ones involving children and schedule them accordingly. We're a little backed up. Some phone calls still have to be made, evidemce reviewed and videos made & posted. Hopefully we can get that all fone very soon!
We're hoping to step up our investigation schedule after the beginning of the year and work on plans emphasising paranormal unity.
We recently got our new shirts in! We're selling them for $20 and we're going to eventually also print them on blue tees as well. If enough people buy them, we may have a t-shirt design contest again where we pick a winner, since it worked amazingly last year.
WNY G.H.O.S.T. Is also going to continue their work with Breathe-And-Release in the 2012 year.
The 2012 Jamestown ParaCon plans are already in full swing. It was an incredible success this past year withlots of help from SPAT, Team Spectre and ourselves.
This year we will also be pushing a campaign for Paranormal Unity. All of our events will help us push the idea and participation of groups all over the nation to work together, compare notes on locations and begin the process of furthering determinations of haunted or nonactive locations.
If you or your group would like tojoin the cause please contact Ashley at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Merry Christmas & Happy Hauntings from all of us at WNY G.H.O.S.T.!

Well good news to all our ghost friends!
We are looking into a house in which our founder lived in growing up. It was the old town hospital, fit with morgue in the basement. Here she experienced terrifying apparitions of decapitated heads, physical contact (while alone in the house, her mother had the door slam shut and the lights turn off in the bathroom) and voices. This house is the reason why she is so interested in the paranormal. This particular location is in one of the oldest parts of Silver Creek. When Ashley's family moved from the house the activity continued. A child from the family that moved into the lower apartment had asked her if there was "something" in the house. Not wanting to scare the child she questioned further to find that simliar things were happening to the children currently there. Though holding a firm belief that returning to the house could cause her physical harm, Ashley is ready and willing to return in order to get to the bottom of her childhood experiences.
We were also contacted via our website for a case in Jamestown, NY. We can post more once we get more information.
